Hi,

I Breed livebearers, but have never sold any, does anybody know how you get in touch, with fish shops which want to buy quaintitys of fish off of you?

How many they usually need?

How often they need new fish?

How much they like to pay?

Im in the Gatwick Area, If you know of any shops looking for livebearers (Mollys, Platys, Guppys, Swords, Cresent Tails),

Thankyou
Ryan

i'm not sure but you might need a pet traders licence otherwise you can get store credit.

Ringing up the local ones in yellow pages is one way to do it, alternatively you could advertise them on the buy and sell here

Do you think fish shops are likely to take fish off of you from a radom phone call you make to them?

What sort of money do the pet shops like to pay, (I now its cheap)?

Thank
Ryan

Chains stores won't they already have breeders they get their fish from, try locally owned shops instead since they most of the time will accept fish from local breeders.

Sure thing, one of my locals accepted my offer via email.

My parents know where alot of the pet stores are, so they'll sometimes take me too random places.
Usually anyone will take em', as long as they're small enough.
I know petco takes all their fish back, and most non-chain stores.
But keep in mind, it'll be very difficult to find a place that actually buys the fish. In their mind, they're doing you a favor. They most likely won't sell it again, and one of the emploiees will take it home.
