How Do You Actually Feed An Apple Snail?

Do I just put stuff at the bottom of the tank and hope he finds it?

Mine tend to feed off flake etc that the fish miss. They love cucumber, just don't leave it in too long also a bit of Apple has gone down well. They will also feed of any algae thats about. Good cleaning tools they are.

How do you know they're getting anything though? 've put some carrot in there will the snail just find it

Hi there,

I weight down a 1/2 thick sliche of cucmber near a clear 'feeding' area at the front of the tank, the snails soon come to find it if they're hungry!
