How Do I Know When I've Rinsed It Enough?

how do i know when i've rinsed the betta tank enough? i soaked it for about 20 mins in bleach water (1:19) and have rinsed it about two dozen times... it's now sitting outside in the sun.

is this enough? or should i rinse it more?

(she had dropsy and i'd like to put another betta in there, but i'm paranoid- hence the cleaning )

You would be able to smell any risidual bleach if there is any. The other thing you can do is fill it with water and add a triple dose of dechlor and letting it soak for an hour or so... but I've always just used the smell test once I rinsed it several times.

i sniffed the dragon and couldn't smell anything- and my puppy ate two of my plants and is ok.... (i would think if there was too much bleach left he'd get sick)... so ya think i'm ok?

i guess i'll let it finish sunning today and go find me another betta tomorrow.... IF y'all are 100% sure i've rinsed enough.
