thats so funny that you posted this vid. I was at the local pet store here talking with one of my fish guys and the tank near the front of the store has some goldfish in it that were doing the same thing. If anyone approached the tank, the fish came to the top and were letting random strangers pet them on the head. It was the most amazing thing ive ever seen.

it definatly wont hurt there slime coat think about when you go fishing carp and goldfish are closely related the carp never get harmed and even more so with tench the only time it will do harm is when dumarses rap cought fish in blankets to help get the hook out
