Exactly, and everyone's said that really the only way to have a good, consistent tank temp is with a heater. Lights, heating pads, etc. simply do not cut it.

I understand that. What gets me dissapointed is that he does not take the imformation or at least thinks about it, he IMMEDIETLY proceeds to say no without a thought. Nonetheless your right, why should I borther, all that matters to me is that my bettas live heathly in a 2.5 or more gallon with space to swim and things to explore, not stay caged in like a prisoner for no reason....
