How Can I Get Them Less Shy?

I have sajica x firemouths and a parrot cichlid. They are constantly hiding in their caves, I have 4 blue danios, because ive read that having a fish that tend to swim in the upper strata help them not be so shy. yet they remain shy an idea's?

How long have you had them? They should adjust and as they grow will be out more often. If they are new let them adjust to the new tank. It's not normal for the cichlids you have to hide all the time. Have you check the water? Any chance they are sick?
