So, I had this idea, as I am short on space, but I have a fish I want to remove so I can treat him for pop-eye and his generally poor state of health (really odd since the rest of the tank are perfect).

Would it be OK putting my small 30L tank in the cabinet which my main tank sits on? It seems a bit mean putting it basically in a cupboardm but It does have a light, so he wont be in pitch black all of the time.

Wouldn't it be alittle better to put him somewhere were you can keep a eye on him? If he's ill the last thing I'd want to do is put it out of sight

I don't think it would be bad for the fish but the idea of a quarantine tank is to keep an eye on the fish and unless you leave the door open you won't see it all the time.
