Hi folks, went to the lfs today and got another 2 silver sharks to go with my 1 in a 90g. The new 2 were much smaller than the 1st and I wondered if Monty my frontosa would be ok with them. Watched them carefully for a while and he seemed to be ignoring them but oh heck, when I went back a few minutes later, the smallest shark floated out from Monty's cave with his tail bitten off. I felt so bad and had to euthanise him as he couldn't swim and was so badly injured :-( The other shark is now in a small tank growing on and I'll never chance anything like that again. Poor little guy!!

Sorry to hear about that.... :/

I could never euthanise one of my fish...I've had fish completely loose their tails and caudial fins and nursed them back to health...Given good water conditions and some TLC most can be saved.

Again sorry about that.
