Hi all I have two hoplo cats which are babies about the size of a adult zebra danio, and all of a sudden they seem to have both lost motor control and can't swim, but they will swim in circles upside down I don't know what this could be I've only ever had adult hoplos, I want to say perhaps some neural damage by either an injury or a toxin all help is appreciated thanks

Water parameters
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrites 0ppm
Nitrates <10ppm
Ph 7

Does he have white spots on him? I've had small hoplos who have had small white spots swimming like this and dying a few days later. Still not sure what this is. :/

Pattern wise or infection wise??? If pattern yes or white markings

It sounds like a bacterial infection that is affecting the motor skills.  If you have a spare tank move them to this and keep the water shallow so they do not move around to much and treat with an broad band antibacterial med.
