You don't need to worry about nitrates at 50 anyway. There only a problem at like 200pm
It's not best to let them get that high. Normally in my 40g it takes about a week to get to 50 or 60ppm, and you should be doing weekly water changes anyway.
 
i think my filter was overworked...as i even had ammonia of 0.25 this morning..the flow of the filter was terrible..so i ended up buying a new one...i'm hoping the cra p filter was the culprit..and my stocking isnt compremised :sad:
 
I think its baby brine shrimp... :unsure:

just be sure to keep an eye on your water levels... the fact that you have no nitrates yet worries me... but keep up with the water changes and hopefully all will be fine

Indeed, baby brine shrimp. Panda's are pretty small. I think even fully grown panda's might struggle with normal Brine Shrimp. They seem to cope with pulling the little ones apart a ittle better. Mine tend to "suck" BBS in half to eat it.
