Honey Gourami turning black

Hi all, I'm relatively new to keeping fish and picked up a pair of yellow honey Gourami recently. They both seem fine and quite happy in the tank but the male, at least I think he's male because of the orange on his fins. Has started turning black around his chin and lower fin.

I've included an image for reference. Is this normal or something I should be worried about?

Male honey gourami will turn black on their undersides as they mature: link to an image that is not mine
As long as the water is good, and there is no excess aggression, it looks like he's developing his colour.
