Hello,

For the last 3 days our pair of Honduran Red Point have been showing breeding signs and took control of one of our caves, This morning they was acting different than usual both fish was in the cave more and doing something on the bottom of the cave. We went out and when we got back home we watched the female HRP go into the cave get the 'eggs' i say 'eggs' because they are wriggling about or so it seems. The male is now picking them up one by one and what seems like he's putting them back in or could be eating them, We can't see inside the cave to know what's going on in there.

Is this normal behaviour or is there something we should be doing? I can provide video's and pics if needed to see the situation.

I posted this in the Tropical section but wanted more advice from expert cichlid keepers this is my other thread http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/317000-honduran-red-point-breeding-help/
