Is there anybody out there who knows how to make a sump at home? To be more specific, I am looking to make a sump to filter a 75 gallon tank. I would like to include a refugium in the setup aswell. Can anybody send me sketches, plans, blueprints... or just plain try to explain it to me? Feel free to email any pics/sketches to PhunNightPromos@hotmail.com. Thanks!

the simplest solution is probably to get an overflow box for the tank, some pipework to connect to a tank at the bottom, then a pump and pipework to return to the tank.
You can get the tank drilled, but if its full then obviously that will be difficult.

As for a refugium, you will probably need to put glass dividers in the sump, and get some bioballs, miracle mud etc.

this may help, you can buy complete kits here, but they are expensive.
