hi all,
 
i might be going away for work for 5/6 weeks and just ask advice on least amount of maintenece that can be done for that time?
 
i have 14 yr nephew i can get to fed them but do not want him to worry about doing water change.
 
my thinking was if i do large water change before going away,make sure external filters are cleaned and then just get nephew to fed them once a week.
 
my tank is 200lt two eheims 2071 and 2073 no plants
 
will my plan be ok or any other sugestions please.

First of all, can i ask what kind of stocking and how many do you have in that tank?

Don't use holiday blocks as they foul your tank. Yes get someone to feed them once or twice a week while you are away and the fish will be fine.

also if your worried about him over feeding, use a pill box with food for correct days
