Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong but ALWAYS certai
In my lifetime I have been fortunate in that I have never expreienced power failure of more than just a few hours at any one time. I feel that it would be incredibly bad luck for me now to have one for days on the occasion that I chose to be away. Therefore I look upon it as a calculated gamble that all will be well. Life is full of these risks. Besides, as far as my fish are concerned, if there was a power failure for days rather than hours then the fact that the device was dumping a small amount of food twice a day in the tank would be the least of my problemsIf I HAD to use an automatic feeder, I wouldn't buy a battery powered one; what if the power goes off for a day or more?. The battery powered feeder would just keep dropping food into the tank without any filtration. You'd be able to leave them for a week without any real problem, but two weeks would be out of the question, I'd have thought. Is there asbolutely no one you could ask/trust to do it?.
and not one that I would like to dump on a neighbour or friend. Thanks for your imput
