Hmmm....

You're welcome. There was some debate a while back about people posting just to say they agreed with a previous reply. Some thought that was a waste and only to inflate their post count. Personally, when I was new and asked a question, I wanted as much feedback as possible. I was always happy when 5 people told me the same thing At least I knew I had gotten good advice. When you only get one reply and you don't know the member and their experience (high post count doesn't necessarily reflect knowledge and visa versa) you don't know whether you've gotten good advice or not. Of course, looking back at the thread, I guess I am the only one that replied.

definitely not what I was aiming for. Although I had an idea on the majority of it, some stuff wasn't so clear cut. I feel it ran much smoother with the information you gave me.

This was actually my first time having to deal with this problem, so I just wanted to make sure I was doing everything right.

Hey guys,

Though I would give you all an update incase anyone was wondering how it was going. I have been keeping up with the daily 50 percent water changes, and have been feeding less food. I still have some Ammonia (between 1.0 and .50 PPMs.) But no Nitrites, which seem to be a problem :/ I still don't think I have any bacteria, even after I added a mature filter, with mature media. I guess all I can do is pray. I will do two more big water changes before I go (55-60 percent) and hope for the best.

Cheers,

DL
