Hmmm Help With Eheim 2213

hello everyone,

Ive just received my new (YAY!) eheim 2213, but on closer inspection one of the clips has snapped clean off, and another has fallen out of the holder and i cant get it back in

Is it worth sending back or is t alright with two clips for now?

also any tips on srtting up wouold be great as the instructions make NO sense to me whatsoever.

Send it back, to prime it place the intake in the tank and then suck on the outlet until water begins to siphon into the canister, then aim the outlet pipe into a bucket, let it siphon until water begins to come out of the outlet, then place your thumb over the outlet pipe, place it in the tank and switch it on.

By Law they have to, the product isn't fit for purpose.

Its because the box isnt damaged, they said send a picture and they'll assess it further.
But ive just been on the website, charterhouse, and i cant send an email because it says the validation code isnt right. Today is not my day!

Charter house are generally good with returns, I had a fauly Tetratec from them, try ringing them instead, they sent me a replacement the same day and arranged for a courier to collect the faulty item, which was never collected so I have 2.

The seller has to replace it without any fees to you, if it arrived damaged. If they won't do anything, you should also contact Eheim, because they will very likely replace it themselves. You will need to show your proof of purchase to them.
