I have noticed several posts stating bettas should not be kept in vases.
The one I have was given to me by someone moving away and he came in a large vase (would fit dozen roses).
I bought him a small fish tank and when I moved him, he kept banging his face in the walls. I thought he was seeing his reflection and was worried he would get hurt doing it. I ended up moving him back into the vase.
Is banging the walls of the tank normal? Do you know what would cause that?
