highly unlikely to be productive... but interesting to watch

but I noticed a female palmeri following a flashy male... the females haven't been mature yet...

but today they were spawning in a shallow dished area in the substrate, on the opposite side of the tank, than the bulk of them school in....

unlikely productive, as they are in a community tank, and both would be 1st timers, and she even younger... this is a highly shaded tank, so I didn't witness any eggs.... if they continue to try, and the community becomes a problem, I could try moving them to a more peaceful tank???

The best scenario is to condition the sexes apart, put them in a breeding tank and remove them after a spawn. Otherwise, a single species tank.
That's always a sign of a well run tank.
