  my flowerhorn will eat just about everthing spam, bacon, ham, bioled potatoes :kana: just about everthing i have treid him on
but this jag is one fussy little eater snubs prawn, mussles, most brands of cichlid sticks i know that he is wild caught

he will wolf down earthworms but i read that they are too fatty for feeding to fish he will also wolf bloodworm but he can not be full by these as my flowerhorn,or my oscars when i had them would eat me out of house and home if i let them lol

Do a little research on the natural diets of your fish and select foods that replicate that as closely as you can. Remember, most fish's tummies are not designed to digest large amounts of animal fats, so be careful when tossing that kind of food into the tank. A little every now and then shouldn't hurt, but I'd think twice about making it a staple of their diet.

Just my opinion.

i agree redgold i only feed him about 2 earthworms every 2 weeks or so
he mainly eats tetra doromin which says its for cichlids and all other large tropical fish

which contains fish and fish derivatives , derivatives of vegtable orign, vegtable protien extracts, yeasts, cereals, oils and fats, milk and milk derivatives,minerals,algae.l-lysine(??),monochlorhydrate,bentonite,lecithin(of the lable means nothing to me)

typical analysis protien46.0%,oil 8.0%,fiber2.0%,ash10.0%moisture6.0%

an some added vitamins A 29 870 IU,D 3 1 865 IU, E

Oh Oh....My jag will also eat another Jag....voluntarily....so I'm trying that approach lately.... :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
