hi to all, newbie alert

Hi, just got my feet wet (groan) in the topical fishkeeping game. Got the following on Saturday and they're still alive (better than my old goldfish 'Moby')....

* 4x neon tetras
* 5x glow-light tetras
* 2x red-wag swordtails
* 1x catfish (unknown)
* 2x blue gouramis
* 5x stripped one's I can't identify (top-swimmers)

I was just about to say that your striped fish are probably zebra danios. Welcome to the forums mobydick and hopefully we can soon indentify your catfish aswell.

Eh I envy you. When I started I just got a 10 gallon tank (US).

I'm guessing with your selection of fish you've got a huge tank.

To warn you unles they're dwarf gouramis the gouramis can get around 12" long

SOunds like a nice community tank and I agree that those are prob. danios.
