Hey guys, I just wanted to formally introduce myself and my seemingly pathetic tank (more about me in the Meet The Members thread.)

Owning a fish tank has been something I've been looking forward to ever since my fiancé and I moved into our new apartment. It took me quite a bit of time to read up on preparing the tank and cycling the water because I wanted to make sure none of my fish wouldn't instantly parish on my account, unfortunately, I've unintentionally murdered a handful fish. Rest assured, I will do everything in my power to prevent this from happening again. As of right now I believe my fish are well and good and no problems have arisen.

I'm going to go ahead and thank you all of you in advance when the time comes where I seek your advice because my tank is in complete disarray and I'm cowering under my duvet cover in a fetal position with my hands over my eyes, crying, wondering why my fish are either dying or dead.
