Two weeks ago I did a 50% water change to my 20 gallon long tank. I have only 3 goldfish and a lot of Anubias a two java fern. Did the water changed cuz my nitrates was in between 40 to 60 most of the time for like a month. Feed my fish once a day and weekly 15% water changes, and didn't solve it.. Now I'm two weeks after I did the 50% water change and my water still milky cloudy. Any advice for this? Thanks

You should only hVe 1 goldfish in there. You need a 40 gallon tank for 3. Goldfish produce lots of waste, and they often give themselves ammonia poisoning .

What kind of filtration do you have and how do you clean it, OP?

The first thing that strikes me (apart from your tank not really being big enough) is that 15% a week water changes is unlikely to be enough. all my tanks get 50% a week, and I don't have many fish that are as messy as goldies!

I would be inclined to do a few, really big water changes, something like 80 or 90%; basically just leaving enough water for the fish to swim upright before refilling. Do that for two or three days and see if that improves things.

Do you have any other test results, for things like pH, nitrite and ammonia?
