How long have you had it set up?

Hi, welcome to the forum! :)

Unfortunately, Mikaila is right, those goldfish will need a much bigger tank soon. Nice pic, though. :good:

Welcome to tff!
and nice tank! Looks really natural and your fancys look really healthy.

The goldfish though will grow to atleast 6 inches, believe me, I have had all those varieties you have in your aquarium. And as they get bigger they will make much more waste and the water will become polluted, slowing and stopping there growth so that they do not reach there potential, they may also get deformed spines as they will get large enough that they will barely be able to swim around that tank.

A 30 gallon tank would be great for them, elimination the above problems, and you could keep the existing filter & decor, so it wouldn't cost much atall.

Anyway you may already know this so if you do sorry lol.

WOW 30 Gallon o man thats a lot of water what size am i looking at then for tank like that will it cost much my tank got now cost me £15

30 gallons aren't too big. They are 36" x 12" x 15". If space is a restriction you could also try a 29 gallon, which is 30" x 12" x 18". It doesn't cost much, about $50 for a 29 gallon tank. You may want to upgrade the filter though. :)

Welcome, ahh and so it begins, you start off with a goldfish and then you want a thirty and then a 120 and then a 220 and then a 1,000. I think we have all been there, I know thats how I started and now i'm at the stage.

Hi there. I am a newbie to the forum aswell. I agree with the last post. You start off with goldfish and you end up with you living room looking like an aquarium.

we still have the 7litre goldfish tank we started with, but they have grown to fit into a 30l tank. then we bought an aqaumode 600 55l tank, then a ufo 180 litre tank, then we bought another one. one for big fish and one for small fish. sold one 180L for a 260l selling that now for a 400 litre tank.... but FRED the goldfish is still my oldest and favourite fish

 my dad started out with goldfishes but i went straight to livebreeders. you might wanna consider either getting a bigger tank for the goldfishes or changing the stock to fit your 7g

It'll be good for a while. What kind of filter do you have?
