Hey so tell me if this tank set-up is ok (fish wise) I have a 20 gallon tank and it is almost full but i have two rainbow fish and four black neons with a pine apple swordtail and three mickey mouse platys and a golden Chinese algae eater and last a bumblebee and i was wondering if that is good and wether or not i can keep a freshwater founder and please do not tell me that it is not fresh because someone at a lfs knows some info about them. Thanks!

Chinese algae eaters grow massive, flounders get 6", bumblebee catfish? also grows 6" . so thats half of your fish too big for your tank.

depending on what species of rainbowfish they can also get up to 6".. so there also too big for your tank.

tetras are schooling fish so need to be in groups of 6+ to be happy. :good:

are you sure? so ill have to get rid of some of my fish? If i do will there be room for one flounder? thanks though man i am crazy!!!!

your guna need to get rid of all the fish i listed at some point. they grow far to big for your tank. the flounder will also be too big for your tank even if its by itself with no other fish.

i just googled the fish names and got the info on them.

wel i did MY research and the rainbow fish i have gets around three inches and the bumblebee gets 2 inches or a little more and the algae eater well i am getting rid of him some point when he gets to big or aggressive but the flounder i am expecting gets like.. three to two inches trust me i did a ton of research on books and online! :shifty:

No objections please

if you didnt want objections why did you ask for advice?

south american bumblebee grows 3 inches
asian bumblebee catfish grows up to 6 inches and is predatory(means it will eat smaller fish)
fresh water flounder(which in guessing is the one your on about) grows 6-10 inches. which is far to big for your tank.

which species of rainbow fish have you got?

which rainbow fish?

most are very active swimmers so the longer the tank the better.......what length is your tank?
