hi peaple has anyone ever had a tank bust i did 4 days ago fortunatly it was a laminated tank and just cracked like a car windscreen it was leaking badly but was able to save half my water and all the fish have now set up new tank but its not quite as big being only 4ft 18 +18 high the tank that bust was 5ft 24+24 so at the moment i have all my fish in my 30in quorinteen tank have put the original plant substrate in the new tank as i dident want to buy new stuff [THIS STUFF COST NEARLY 200 QUID]fish are a bit squased up but they look ok just waiting to get readings right on new setup now to me as a new member welcome any problems anybody might have have kept tropical =marines and coldwater fish for over 45yrs thanks paddyray

How come you didn't put your fish straight into the new tank with the old filter?

i had to put fish in another tank to get the substrate out as when i took plants out stirred up tank and wouldent av bin able to see fish to catch them also when youve got water running all over the floor its fish first also had to go and buy a new tank paddyray

The first tank I ever had bust a seal on the front pain and leaked quite bad, only had it a month, so off to the local fish store and came away with a bigger tank, new heater, filter, and a £30 voucher for fish for no extra cost so wasn't all bad
