Hello all!!
Thought it was about time I joined after hogging the laptop from 'stevereade' (my OH) and reading all the posts. As you may know from Steve, we have a few tanks and one that is especially loved in the house (his tank). I haven't kept fish since I was a little girl until me and Steve got together. I was very excited when he moved in as he brought his fish with him. They were like our little babies, every time we got something new for the little tank it was exciting learning all about it. I remember when we got our first guppies, they were so pretty and sat watching them for hours and I remember waiting for the females to give birth and watching the little ones hide and grow, awesome. I felt so proud that something actually had babies under our care, now I know they just love to mate lol.
Well the fish hobby has progressed loads since our first early days, and that lil' tank we shared is now kinda my own. I am still not an expert and don't have a high tech tank, but have learnt a lot from Steve. And hope to learn some more. Steve is very committed to his tank and has learnt a lot himself being on here and it is amazing to see how well his tank has progressed, everyone seems very friendly on here. I am glad we can share this hobby and that I can get more involved.
