Just started a fish tank about a week n alf ago but I'm having trouble...
I currently have tetras and harliquens wat are the best plants for them I have a 35 liter tank
Also what's the best way to clean the gravel.

hey welcome to the hobby hope ur enjoying it firstly what tetras do u have? i like vallis and java fern for my neon and ember tetras the best way to clean the gravel is to use a gravel cleaner

Hey, welcome to the forum!
If you haven't yet, you'll be wanting to read up on cycling your filter. It doesn't sound like you've done it yet. You can get all the info you need here.

Now, I personally wouldn't keep harlequins in a 35L tank. They can actually grow quite big, and since they need to be in a shoal of at least 6, they might outgrow the tank quite quickly. Also, the glowlight tetras can get 3cm too, and these need to be in a shoal of 6, as do the neons. Neons are also delicate fish, and probably won't make it through your fish-in cycle, as that's what you're in now.

For the method I'm doing the add and wait, because I feel it is the best method for me.
