Hi everyone,

I have been keeping fish for a while, but this is my first time in the forum. I recently set up a 55 gallon freshwater tank and I am pondering the ideas of what fish would go well in there. I do have some favorites, but I can't decide whether I want a community tank, or a single species tank.

With this new tank, I am currently in the process of doing a fishless cycle, and with reading many articles, finally think I can do it!!!

Well, if anyone has any suggestions as to what could go in my tank, please feel free to respond. (I really like South American Cichlids).

Hi,I`m new today,I have asked a similar question and you might get an answer that ur tank is to small for some chiclids,i have a couple of bolivian rams,you should talk to some 1 in the chiclid forum,hope this helps.

That's a favourite question, you will have to decide for yourself, as you can see from my sig, I like oddballs that mostly have to be in there own tank for other fishes sake
