Hi all. So as the top reads I have floating particles in my tank.

Im not sure why this is.

My readings are 0,0,10
Ammonia nitrite and nitrate respectively

Tank has been set up for around 18 months

Fed a mix of flake and frozen food depending on the day.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Think filter floss in your filter may help if you have not already done this.

If so, have heard some folks add a second small filter with just filter floss. This second filter's sole purpose is just to clean the water of any particles in the water.

There is some already. Just bought some more as cheaper than a second filter. :p will update on results

How long has the filter floss been in? It needs to stay "fluffy" so to speak. If you let it compact, or it loses its bounce, it can actually work against you by reducing your filters turnover and as such its efficiency. Buy yourself a large pond filter mat, cut it to size, split it in half if it appears too thick. This works out far more cost effective and as such after a couple of uses, or more regularly to overcome this problem, you can just bin it and replace it. Catch some of this particulate in a jar and see if you can identify what it actually is. Could it be a waterborne algae?
