Hey all,

My name is Ashli I'm from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, and amongst my menagerie of animals I also have fish. I've owned fish nearly my whole life, and have bred them for the last couple of years.

I have 2 fish tanks at the moment, both tropical freshwater, with another 6ft tank on it's way which means I can spend more money on fish .
I currently have:

3 Electric Yellows
3 Golden Suckers
2 Silver Scats
2 Electric Blues
2 Clown Loaches
2 Kuhli Loaches
2 Rainbow Sharks
2 Golden Gouramis
2 Pearl Gouramis
2 Blue Gouramis
2 Kribensis
1 Blue Ram (his mate died of old age a couple of weeks ago)
1 Falworella
1 Blue Acara
1 Green Severum
1 Congo Tetra

I think that's all of em

I also own an Albino rabbit called Spooky
Cat named Odie
Rottweiler named Narla
Doberman x named Keisha
2 weeros, 2 quails and 6 budgies

I look forward to seeing you'se all around and joining in on the threads :D

Ashli :)

Edited: Just thought I'd add that my other animals

Hi Ashli :D

I am very new here as well, as of today :)

Look forward to sharing fish stories and advice with you :)

:hi: to the forum.

It seems you have quite the assortment of fish, meaning that unlike all the betta enthusiasts congregating in the betta forum, you'll no doubt be forum hopping (which is always a good thing ^_^).

I take it many of the cichlids have been breeding (since you have 2 tanks, no doubt with the other fish in the tanks as well). Were you able to successfully raise the majority of the fry?

Glad to have you with us. See you around.

Oh, I'm most definitely a forum hopper

My cichlids stay in the big tank during breeding and have only lost a few fry, but once the fry hit aroud 3-4 weeks I move them into the more quiet tank til they are old enough to go to new homes.

My gouramis on the other hand are always moved into the other tank to breed...The others have a tendency to break up their bubble nest

And even though it most deifnitely won't happen, I've always got a small glimmer of hope that maybe one day my silver scats might decide to breed. But that's a next to nothing shot.

Ashli :)
