Hey Guys, Newbie Here :p

I've just joined in hopes of getting some advise on my tank,
First I shall introduce myself!
I'm Rach, from Sydney currently in my final year of high school (about time!)
I'm usually an artsy, quiet person.
I have plenty of pets from feathers, fur to scales, hence me joining.
See I have a tank, details:
Width: 30cm (11.81")
Height: 23cm (9.06")
Depth: 17cm (6.69")
11.7 liters / 3.0 U.S. gallons.

I currently have one Mystery Snail, Godzilla.

I'm thinking of getting a Betta too, (I'll check out the Betta section) But for what it's worth I'll post here.
I'm pretty stuck given the tank size, And I've been advised to not get a Betta because he might damage my snail.
Can I keep a Betta with Godzilla, someone suggest a few Tetras or Guppies too. I'm not sure what'd work really...

So yes thats my very small intro and question, I've kept fish before. Used to have a tropical tank filled with Guppies and Pleco and tried to breed pleco a few years ago. Would'nt say I'm experianced at all

welcome i love your snail! haha he looks wicked... i woudlnt really but a betta in there, maybe some shrimp?

Welcome to the forums! If you had a bigger tank I would say a betta would be fine. I have a 10 gallon with a small black mystery snail and 5 guppies at the moment and I havent had a single problem. But they have lots of room, so I would go with shrimp or a very small fish.. one that isnt to messy either.

Alsocongrats on making it to your last year in high school! I'm in the same boat haha!

I;d second the cherry shrimp g for them they would make a nice little set up

I've never kept them but could you keep endlers in there?

I've thought of shrimp only know of ghost shrimp for sale here, I'll keep an eye out for Cherry shrimp.
The Endlers are really interesting, never heard of them
So If I did get a smaller what type/ how many would I have to look for?

Thank you, I was wondering. Why no Betta is it tank or simply that I want to keep the snail?
Godzilla isn't looking to good as of late
He sites half open in the one spot. I know his alive only because I saw his "oxygen tube" move a little...

Sadly my snail passed away, I could'nt get he supplies for him in time
I'll probably get a Betta, going to look at a filter and the fish in stock tomorrow.
