hello everyone i have some questions
is my tank cycled.
its been 10 days since is setup my 55 gallon fish tank.
i seeded it using my well established 10 gallon tank.
i used gravel and filter media from it.
at first the bio wheel was spinning fast now its really slow and brownish so i figure that the bacteria has grown in the tank.
so i was asking if my tank is cycled.
because i really want to put fish in.
so far i have 3 tiger barbs 3 cherry barbs 1 danio.
ammonia i just tested is 0ppm
nitrite is 0ppm
nitrate is 10ppm
and ph is 7.6 thats cuz the tap water is 7.6 i tested it
so is my tank cycled or should i wait. a little more. also have lots of live plants in the tank

Welcome to the forum Amazonian1.
What concentration of ammonia did you use to cycle the tank and how often is it being replenished? Most of us here use from 2 to 5 ppm of ammonia to cycle a tank.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Did you use part or a full cycled media sponge to transfer?

Just for a bit of info, if your tank wasn't fully cycled, you'd be doing a fish-in cycle, here is a good thread on that subject.
