He's The Best Fish Ever! But Help Needed!

Basically I'll give you the backstory:
A long time ago (3 years), there was an idiot (me...).
Now this idiot set up his tank and it looked great.
But that was soon to change, for this idiot did not know about cycling,
and neither did it seem his LFS...

So I bought 18 fish including 2 Dwarf Gouramis, 8 neon tetras, 4 threadfin rainbow fish and 2 Adolfo's Cories. AT ONCE!!!

3 months later the fish tank was murky (probably a bacterial bloom now I think about it) and all the fish were dead.....

Except, wait!
Did something move in that plant!

Yes!
Against all the odds one of those little Cories lived!

So I have a question.
If you follow this link you'll see I'm considering getting a new tank.

I kinda want to remember which fish survived so.. If I buy 5 panda Cories which look kinda similar will he shoal?

It's preferably to have the same species, but they will shoal. He will be happier with corys of the same species but as long as you have like 5 or more corys in total you should be fine. This is more important with actual shoaling fish (not substrate shoaling) like tetras and stuff.

In the tank completely cycled? You can seed the new tank with media from the old.
