He's still alive!!!

Fish are incredibly resilient creatures and adapt well to things that would cripple most mammals. They amaze me all the time with how tough they are.

If you ever see old fish, they are almost always ugly, from the battles of life… I think the only way you would ever see a perfect, old fish, is if it was a single fish in a large tank, that never had been netted, or shared the tank with another fish, and had no hard scape to run into chasing around, and generally had no fun and a boring existence
