Hes Arrived ! My New Boy........

He arrived just before 9:00am, in a VERY WELL PACKAGED box and in good condition as i said to netty, he actually flared at me when i got him out of the box
Got him to flare using a mirror.....

I couldn't stop taking them...

I'm glad to hear he arrived safe n sound mate Your post is a damn site better than ours, our special delivery always comes at 5 to 1, and our normal post can be as late as 5.30! but never before 3pm!

I'll tell you what happened when we were packaging him up now I lifted the lid up on his divided tank and dipped the bag in, I then reached down for the net and, well he wasn't there Initial thought, he's behind the heater? Nope, he had jumped the divide in a split second and was squaring up to Taro who is about twice the size of him! No harm done though

So yes, i can believe he flared at you He's a bit fiesty

He's in the tank now, and is really active, going in and around the plants . I have also put a terracotta pot and the almond leaf in the tankfor him.

I ordered hikari betta gold, is that what you used to feed?, or does he take flake aswell?

Basically he eats anything and everything He was mainly on betta gold and sometimes betta pro. He will also take flake, bloodworm frozen or live. To be honest he's never refused anything

ok, ill try him on some flakes later, and then the hikari gold when they decide to turn up

That'll be fine. He wasn't fed for about 24-36 hours before going on his journey so he'll be up for anything

We're off to sunny Bournemouth tomorrow. Going to the official opening of Modaz's new shop and collecting a copper female and a few other things whilst we're there. Lucky I've got a van cus once Netty gets in a shop........

I love his colouring on his tail its lurvely, hes got a great personality too, he had a little nibble on my finger when i was moving something in his tank
