surly you will have to wait for the crab to moult. legs/claws, dont "grow" back.

.as there should be water in the tank with the crab, i cant see lack of moisture, being a problem.


@OP can you let us know about the tank you keep it in:

size
filtration
ratio of land to water
salinity of the water
other tank mates.

thanks actually from my experience when i found parts of my hermit crab it died soon never knew what actually happened to it just found it dead a couple of days later after i found the claws and the legs

Back to topic Lily, I have read all three of your posts on this and still need more information, your recent post in Tropical Discussion says you found a "leg like thing", is one of your crabs actually missing a leg? Because if not it's probably just a husk from shedding.
