Hermit Crabs

Just a simple question really,
Do I have to provide some graded empty shells for Hermit crabs to inhabit as they grow or is this not applicable. If so where do I obtain these from.

yes you do, or else the hermits will kill each other for their shells.

You can buy them on eBay or many of the online stockists of hermit crabs sell empty shells.

i just get sea shells at the craft store and make sure they are well cleaned before going in the tank.
