I picked up a group of 8 herichthys pearsei on Friday still small biggest being only 3" ut should take to much time for them to be able to go into the main tank. This is what they are looking like at the moment bit drab and boring but soon will be realy sweet.

Oh yes very timid at the minnute. They do not venture far from the wood but that can be expected from juvi cichlasoma cant it?

dont you know it, my FMs are the only fish in the tank they have been in the tank for about a month and they still won't swim free from the rocks and caves very much

Its gonna be funny they will get settled in that small tank gain a couple of inches and be thrown in the 8ft with monsters I probably wont see them again for about a year lol.

My pearsei is my friendliest fish, they'll be begging you for attention, even when young mine didn't hide, great cichlids. She came from a breeder in cambs.

Great, I take it they're becoming more friendly by the looks of it too...They're pigs
My female is overcoming her disease and is around 10"...Will have to get some more pics once she's added back to the 100gal.
With that many I should think you'll get a breeding pair or two eventually
