My source water had Chlorine in it, never used dechlorinator. If you read some of my posts I describe my system and why it works.

If you mean chloramine, you need dechlorinator. Letting water stand or spraying it through nozzles only works with chlorine.

This is interesting... Idk what I have then. I'll just add it to be careful.

My test kit does say my water has .25-.50ppm of ammonia so maybe it is chloramine

When tap water shows ammonia it's usually because of chloramine.
