i'm quite new to keeping tropical fish had my tank for about 4 months now have added fish gradually but about half an hour ago noticed marks on one of my dwarf gouramis looks like it has been attacked and had its scales ripped off. I really don't know what to do and at this time of night there are no pet shops open can anyone give me some advice on what to do please thank you.

Seperate the aggressive angel straight away, maybe you will have to think of rehoming him.
Phone the lfs to see if they will take him back.
How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

I think its an 84L tank i've got three dwarf gouramis, 2 angelfish, 1 male siamese fighting fish
ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph levels are all normal. don't have a spare tank to seperate the fish it cracked the other day and haven't had a chance to replace it.

I would research the fish before you buy as nearly all those type of fish are not compatable.
You will have to try and find something that you can divide the tank into two halfs.

For two angel fish you really need a 25 gallon tanks.

Thank you for your help i bought all my fish from the same store and informed hem of all the fish i had before i bought anymore i will phone tomorrow to see if they will take him back thank you again.

remove the fighter too if you can as they cannot be kept with either angels and especially not gourami
