Help?

Help. New to the forum.... hello all. Just made a possible error and run (blame the girlfriend) into aquarium keeping, with little thought to our lack of fish knowledge. We have a 65litre tank with 4 angels, 2 peach gourami and 2 snakeskin gourami.... Also a black shark which is currently in solitary confinement in the first tank we bought (last sunday) due to his territorial behaviour. Aside from the obvious mistakes (2 aquariums in a week, no research, no brain?) is this a viable community (with/without the black shark). OR is it another trip to the bank.
Apologies to all fish lovers who's disdain i probably deserve.....
Any advice?

jesus well fish choice to begin with is quite bad for a starter. im new to it all myself but ive started with easy fish. guppies, tetras, mollies and all that sort. angel fish are quite difficult to start with to be honest. for advise you have chosen a good place. everyone is really nice and helpful. i would also advise getting yaself down to the local libary and get books. find out what fish is compatable with wich. have you let any of ya tanks cycle aswell? if you have any questions dont be afraid to ask me. i dont know much, but for what i do im happy to help anytime.

and as for the angels the goramis and the shark then yes it can be a viable community, however you will need a much bigger tank. most people use whats called an inch per gallon rule meaning that 1 inch of adult fish length per gallon of tank water, Howeer this goes out the windo with things like angels discus and other large fish they they produce alot more watste per inch of fish than smaller ones,
your probably looking at getting roughly a 60 gallon tank for your current fish
(5 -10 gallons per angel) 4-5 gallons per gorami, and as for the shark that depends on temperament, as its ore of a teratory thing with him (if i were you he sounds like a nasty one so take him back to the LFS and get a schoal of corys)
