i have yellow jackets witch i am allergic to =hospital, but i will not let appartment people spary untill i find out what to do with my fish. i need all the suggestions i can get and as soon as possible.

empty the aquarium house the fish elsewarer and turn the aquarium upsidedown so the spray will not enter it OR Cover it completely with a latex coat so chemechals wont get in
 
I would also be very concerned with insecticide spraying anywhere near my fishes. Many of those chemicals are very toxic to fishes. If you can find out which insecticide will be sprayed, you could research its toxicity. Sorry, I don't know what you could do to protect your fish, short of sealing off the tank with plastic sheeting for "awhile". How about suggesting to the apartment owner to use traps instead of chemicals?
