well he's still alive this morning which is always a good sign! he's still not looking too healthy though, just sitting there at the bottom of the tank, put some peas in and he's not touched them

Can you tell me if it's got any spots along it's body grey spots that is because i could very well be a red belly pacu look similar to SD's in fact the come from the same family same as piranha.

Also can you tell me the size of the fish please.

SDs can have dark spots on their bodies too, although I doubt this one will have as they tend to be in breeding condition when they have them.

Silver dollars do much better in a shoal rather than a a single so if i take him still i think he may do much better because he'll feel much safer with the rest of my silver dollars.

from those two pics it looks more like the latter

but when we were searching last night trying to see what it looks like we found this pic of a spotted silver dollar, now it's not spotty, but the body shape and face is near enough exactly the same

yeah that's what we thought, the tanks too small and we know he shouldn't be by himself, so although it might be added stress him moving twice in 2 days especially as he's a little unwell, if where he's moving too is much more suitable then it might be worth the risk.

I think considering you know what your doing with silver dollars and we dont, and your tank is much more suitable for him it's probably best you get him today won't charge you, would feel tight as selling someone a poorly fish!! just hope you can sort him out.

make it 1.30 if thats OK, just got to nip out, should be back within an hr but you never know!!
