Hello all,

I bought a 60L tank 8 weeks ago, and acting on advice from the "Expert" in my LFS was tricked (for want of a better word) into doing a fish in cycle, cycle.

Fortunately I found this forum, & using all the information I've gained on here I have managed to keep 4 of my 5 male guppies alive through the cycling process.

The tank took 6 weeks to cycle & at the end of week 7 I added 6 Harlequin Rasboras. It's now the end of week 8 & I've just introduced an Otto.

My question is what would be good to add next or am I up to my limit as I don't want to over stock.

I will be upgrading my filter to an external next week which I will run along side the current internal for 4-6 weeks

Any ideas or advice would be greatly welcomed.

Thanks.

If you're upgrading your filtration then if it were me I'd happily add some bottom feeders/bottom dwelling fish into the mix.

How about some corys?
Pref a group of 4-6.

I'd also stick some live plants in there. To help mop up extra nitrates in-between water changes.

Thanks for the reply :good:

I was looking at some corys today but I wasn't sure on numbers. So that's why I thought I'd beter ask for advice on here first.

I put in some live plants a couple of weeks ago, but they started to brown around the edges, so I've taken them out of they're weights and planted them straight into the gravel. Hopefully they'll come back a bit.
