Help With My Female Betta Please

Hi, I have got a female fishting fish and she started to act a bit odd last week (Laying up against the filter and not moving alot). today i noticed that it seems as thou a couple of scales on her head are sticking up and also like she has got her lips missing. it almost looks as thou her head is caving in.

Does any1 have any ideas what this could be. Btw there is no white fluff so i dont think its cotton mouth.

could be the start of dropsy which the scales sticking up, if so caught early so easier to treat but not 100% that it will be cured, if shes in a tank with others i would suggest keep her in there as the whole tank would need to be treated anyway, you will get a load of "get her out" "add salts" "clean water only" but tbh hitting dropsy early and hard with medications can cure it, a medication for dropsy is on the market, cant for the life of me remember it as its late, hmmmm it could be myxazin but wont be 100% sure until i get some sleep , the mouth and head issue is also something i cant remember whats its called, but i've got the name on my laptop somewhere, can you supply a pic of her please as this makes this much easier for me?

Hi, thanks for replying. yea she is with other fish. would be great if you could let me know bout the medication and the mouth thing in the morning. I will post a pic of her tomorrow for you as the tank light is off now. Thanks again

hi modaz we put melafix in her tank last night and her lips still look weird but her scales on her head arent sticking out as much. but any more advice would be appreciated.
