Help With Identifying My Stowaway

I bought some cherry barbs last week and when I got home I realised that there was an extra little fella who I didn`t ask for in the bag with the barbs.

I was hoping someone could please identify what this little orange/red fish is please? Sorry if the pic isn`t very clear but the little blighter is very quick and it was difficult to get a good pic.

Kinda looks like an ember tetra to me, could be wrong though

After having a quick look at other ember tetra pics, its certainly looks a strong resemblance.

I wasn`t sure what it could be so had no idea what to put into Google. After reading your replies and then about this little fella, I`m pretty chuffed that my tank has pretty much all the conditions that keeps the ember tetra happy (if that`s what it is), except for the fact I have only one of them

He seems happy enough, zipping around alongside one of my smaller harlequins. I don`t want to overstock my tank but maybe I should look at getting a few more (if/when I can) so that he`s got some of his own kind for company
