Help With Fish Id Please!

I have bought what were sold as Eye Spot Rasboras but when looking through books they don't appearto be?! They're almost an inch long, Silvery/grey in colour with a electric blue/orange/electric blue stripe running from the dorsal fin to the caudal peduncle/fin. The caudal fin has a black circle with a thin electric blue border. Any ideas?! sorry unable to post a pic!

We need pics to help Id these fish. If you do not have a cam please tell us more about the fish. Was those fish in a aggresive or peacuful tank at the lfs??

I know it's difficualt but yes you do need a pic for us to help there are prob 50 species simular to what u describe......

Even poor pics help but with so many fish of this type a good clear pic would be best.

In answer to your question Alex they were in a peacefull tank. I have seven in total, they spend most of their time just below the surface or amongst the top of plants.

What fish were that in with. Sorry to be asking to many questions. And to be help iding your fish It could be some type of rainbow fish.
