Help With Diy Python

Im goin to make a diy pthon like in the diy section, only problem is my tap and how im goin to connect to it?
here is a pic of the same taps as mine
(Not my taps!)

and here is the connector i need

it seems there not enough of the tap end to connect to

You need a different type of tap adapter

found one, i guess they slide over the top then you just screw down to tighten it up?
