Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone has one of these aquariums.
Some time after setting mine up I had an issue with 1 of the 2 lights in the hood (the tubes were fine but the fitting no longer worked). I contacted the manufacturer who very kindly sent me a new hood, the only issue is does anyone know how to take the old hood off and fit the new one?
Iv'e had a good look and cant see any obvious clips and Im worried about breaking the hood fixings leaving the aquarium unsafe and/or unlit which would not go down well with my mollies and danios (oh and the shrimp)!
The last year Ive justy left the original hood on with 1 light working but Ive been having a general build up of brown algae on my plants and its been suggested that it could be because of the low light conditions. If anyone has any other solutions Id be keen to hear them, otherwise any advice on changing the hood would be very, very much appreciated!
